Regional Business Manager (APAC)


Quotient is recruiting a Regional Business Manager to join the Sales Team in the Asia-Pacific Region. The role is a full time and permanent position and can be located in any country within ASEAN / SEA including Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand or Singapore. The Regional Business Manager will work closely with our distributor’s teams across Asia Pacific Region in full alignment with the company strategic directions to develop, implement and execute local country sales and marketing plans for our products ranges, ensuring the successful launch, adoption and renewal of orders to meet the company targets.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The main responsibilities will include:

  • Driving downstream Marketing and commercialization activities within Asia Pacific region.
  • Ensuring the translation of Global Marketing Strategy into local execution. Providing both guidance and support to local distribution network within the region to ensure they can meet their business goals.
  • Playing a key role in driving Go To Market activities and local execution of product’s launches, adoption & future LCM decisions.
  • Contributing to build the Global Marketing Plan (GMP) with the Global Product Managers, for a given Solution (integrated product lines)
  • Acting as the key point of contact to provide the support needed from Corporate technical teams in terms of technical field application or service support as well as all market compliance needs, including but not limited to; regulatory compliance, registration and field corrective action.
  • Conducting regional / local competitive landscape analysis (OTSW) and market environmental studies
  • Following the G2M process, launch new products, ensure follow up and propose tools to implement within the local countries & distribution network, formulate and execute the set sales plans and marketing strategy ensuring growth within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Prepare, monitor, and update annual sales plans / targets / budget to ensure optimal fund and return on investment, share responsibility of achieving sales budget with local Sales Team. Create Yearly Business Plan: Design action plan to implement local strategies following the corporate strategies to achieve our Sales, Margin and market share objectives as defined in yearly budget.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & BEHAVIOURS REQUIRED

  • Essential: 5 to 10 years of previous Sales and Marketing experience in IVD business, preferably on Autoimmune diseases and allergy diagnostics in ASEAN / SEA other Asia Pacific markets.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare Life Science and/or Marketing, preferably both
  • Strong organisational, administrative and communication skills, good attention to detail, sound knowledge and experience with MS Office and CRM packages
  • Desirable: Medical Technologist or Lab. background especially in Clinical Biochemistry / Immunoassay

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Competitive salary on offer
  • The role will require national and international travel up to 40% of normal working time.
